The midweek round of matches in the Italian Serie A features Lazio and AC Milan going up against each other at the Stadio Olympico. Both teams have been struggling for form in recent weeks. Lazio, though, come into the game after having overcome Sassuolo and Bologna in back-to-back matches. AC Milan, however, have been pretty disappointing and the latest derby with Inter Milan saw them suffer a 3-0 defeat. In the problems continued to mount for AC Milan, who have not managed a victory in the New Year since beating Salernitana by a narrow margin.
It is crucial that Lazio will be without Ciro Immobile for this match. Milan are also struggling with plenty of injury problems including the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. As a result, both teams may not have the same kind of attacking presence in the final third. After giving AC Milan squad a couple of days off, Stefano Pioli will be hoping that the Rossoneri are able to get the concentration and focus back on track. Mike Maignan will also be another key miss for AC Milan, but this match can be backed to end up with a point for both outfits.
