The off-season has been eventful as several clubs are looking to strengthen ahead of next season. There has been a lot of movement of players across board. The arrival of Ndombele to Tottenham,Rodriguez to Man City and impending arrival of Maguire at Manchester United shows that the top 6 mean business.
Manchester City remain the biggest favourites. Manager Pep Guardiola has built a team that is feared across the country. Boasting of the best midfield in the league, Man City are a sure bet to make the top 4 places.
The likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero would have a big impact next season. New signing Rodri is also expected to plug the hole in the defensive midfield position as Fernandinho long term replacement
Liverpool are the second favourites for the top four places as they finished a point behind Manchester City last season. Buoyed with a front three of Mohammed Salah,Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, The Reds have all the tools to make a title challenge next season.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is also an excellent tactician and would be looking to deliver the elusive league title for the Reds. Although there have not been any key arrivals this season. Liverpool have strong squad to compete for laurels next season.
Tottenham have been the dark horses in the past few seasons but have generally been a sure bet for the top four. Led by their talismanic forward Harry Kane, the North London club has the consistency to make a steady push for the top four.
The signing of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has also helped to solidify the midfield depth. There are also reports that Spurs could also make a push for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes before the window closes.
