Premier League benefitting from TempoBet input

The name TempoBet may not be the most familiar, even among those who use online sportsbooks on a regular basis but they are set to surge in the industry, thanks to some very high-profile sponsorship deals.

The operator, formed in 2007, has already made the news with a record shirt deal involving Burton Albion and would have been delighted to receive a boost when that side was featured in a live EFL Cup match against Liverpool. But they are making inroads into the Premier League too with some very lucrative arrangements.

Partners
If the Title Favourites had been actively seeking an online casino to partner in with then TempoBet may not have been an obvious choice but they are an ambitious company and that ambition has clearly caught the eye of Manchester City. The deal, announced in August 2016, sees TempoBet installed as City’s Official Betting Partner for The Asia and Pacific regions and it’s one that has delighted everyone associated with the operator.

“We’re very excited about teaming up with Manchester City, who are a huge name in global football and share our ambition to be the biggest and best,” said TempoBet’s Mark Clayton.

You could be forgiven for thinking that the arrangement was all ‘one-way’ and that the bookie are the ones to benefit but Manchester City will be looking to expand their profile in those designated regions and with TempoBet already having a foothold there, this looks to be a good fit.

Second signing
Not content with just one big Premier League deal, TempoBet have moved quickly to secure a second signing and to get top flight new boys Middlesbrough added to their portfolio. This arrangement also sees the bookie confirmed as a Betting Partner but this time they are ‘in-stadia’ meaning that any supporter looking to place a bet while at the game will be using TempoBet as a first port of call.

With many thousands attending Middlesbrough matches at the Riverside Stadium, the bookmaker has, if you like, a Captive Audience and can generate revenue over the course of the season but as with the Manchester City arrangement, they have possibilities that extend way beyond that.

TempoBet’s logo will now appear on both the Middlesbrough and Manchester City official websites so many millions of clicks will be generated which will see their name prominently displayed. They will also be in evidence via advertising at both grounds so the exposure granted by both deals should see a huge boost in exposure which will undoubtedly lift their brand.

In return
Manchester City are a mega-rich club so perhaps it’s Middlesbrough who will prosper more thanks to the money generated from the TempoBet deals. The North East club are back in the top flight for 2016/17 and as we know, it’s vital to invest in a squad in order to stay there. A number of high profile transfers have been made with two goalkeepers – Brad Guzan and Victor Valdes – coming in, amongst others, and for manager Aitor Karanka, survival is the main aim.

So, two Premier League clubs plus the Championship side Burton Albion will be benefitting from TempoBet’s input this season but as for the bookmaker themselves, their unfamiliar name is set to be propelled forward and their online presence can only increase in the months that lie ahead.
